Can I just say Kayla and Dylan have inspired lovers all around Tulsa with their passion for one another?! Let me tell you why.
First of all, I know them personally and can tell you they're 10000% madly in love. Like "get a room" in love. I mean that in a really, really complimentary way. It's beautiful and so sweet. Plus, they live it up to the max and never turn down a chance to enjoy life together.
Let me explain.
These two love birds embark on so many adventures together and truly squeeze the very most joy out of life. I've witnessed their trips around the nation from dinner cruises in DC and hiking in Arizona to romantic cruises and camping on the beach -- they take their two boys on so many memorable trips!
I've also documented their passion for one another countless times over the last 5 years.
AND LET ME JUST SAY: This time around was so very special.
About five months prior to her and Dylan's 10 year anniversary, Kayla reached out to me to help orchestrate a half day full of re-living all the memories that have helped make these two who they are today.
So, what did we do?
First, Kayla took Dylan to the very first spot they went on a date - Los Cabos while I nonchalantly hid in the bushes nearby all glamorous-like blowing leaves away from my face.
Then, Kayla reserved the exact same booth they sat at during their first date and gave Dylan a gift (plus a really awesome "Hubby" and "Wifey" shirt set).
Next, after inhaling queso and chips, we drove to a gorgeous hidden creek in the heart of Broken Arrow and re-lived the spot these two committed to spending the rest of their lives together.
And lastly, we drove to their intimate marriage spot at Dylan's grandparents where Kayla showered Dylan with a playlist of their favorite songs. Then, she had their two handsome son, Cash and Cale, come out all dressed up and read Dylan letters they wrote all by themselves (cue the tears!).
After that, Kayla read Dylan a letter she wrote, gave him a photo book with memories, and scattered their original wedding memorabilia all over a soft white blanket. They sat on the blankets and ate a gorgeous cake by a local bakery -- Laurannae Baking Co. then toasted with personalized wine from Waters Edge Winery out of wine glasses they bought on a hot air balloon adventure in Albuquerque.
Absolutely insane and romantically ridiculous in the most precious way, right? I love them.
This day was incredibly special. Thank you for the honor of capturing the love you two have shared over the last 10 years. You're amazing.
Okay, enough talking --- take a look:
What a thoughtful and beautiful way to say "Happy Anniversary" right?!
